Board Of Directors

Lynette Brown is the Chairman, Executive Director of the Lynette Brown Hungry & Homeless Outreach Ministries, Inc.  This is a local nonprofit organization serving the people within the metro Atlanta area and surrounding communities.  The aim is to serve, support and help to improve the quality of life for the less fortunate as they walk through this life’s journey.

Lynette has always had a passion for helping others since the age of 4, when she began helping her parents with whatever needed to be done.  Helping others continued throughout her teenage years and into her adult life.  For several years, she has worked as a volunteer with the Red Cross, MUST Ministries,  Camp Twin Lakes, Hosea Feed the Hungry, AARP, Publix Georgia Marathon, Half Marathon and the Youth Defendant Program through the State of Georgia Department of Corrections.

Lynette also has a passion for baking, where she uses her cakes to show her appreciation (her way of saying ‘thank you’) for those who have helped her or assisted her in the organization. There have been times where she would just give the cakes away as a means of showing how much she cares.

Lynette has written a cookbook that has been on the market for a couple of years, and has just completed her second cookbook.  As with the first, she uses all of the proceeds toward the work and services of the nonprofit organization.  Lynette Brown truly has a heart for helping others, especially
those in need.
